Main downhill run and main ski trail; application for a usage permit

If you wish to use the main downhill runs and main ski hiking trails during the period of sporting activity for purposes other than practicing the sport for which the downhill run or ski hiking trail is intended, you require permission from the responsible municipality. Such permissions can only be granted for slope maintenance, the provision of facilities or for agricultural and forestry purposes. A further prerequisite for granting permission is that the intended use does not pose a risk to the safety of sports enthusiasts.

A permit is not required if an exception has been granted for the operation of motorized snow vehicles in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 2 of the Bavarian Immission Control Act (BayImSchG).

Anyone who is present at the time of sporting activities for purposes other than practicing the sport for which the slope or ski trail is intended without a permit or exemption can be fined.
