Compulsory Education; Application for Enforcement of Compulsory Education

If a student subject to compulsory education fails to attend classes or other mandatory school activities without a valid reason, the school may apply to the district administrative authority to enforce compulsory attendance. The district administrative authority may, through its representatives, forcibly bring the student to school.

To enforce compulsory attendance, the representatives of the district administrative authority may enter residences, business premises, and private property and may use direct coercion. Failure to comply with compulsory schooling constitutes an administrative offense that may be punishable by a fine imposed on both the student and the legal guardian or the training company.
