Depending on the election or vote, the district administrative authorities are the seat of the electoral bodies at district level. These are the district or city electoral officers for federal and European elections, constituency officers for state and district elections and voting officers for referendums. The district administrative authority supports the electoral bodies formed by it in the performance of their duties in European, Bundestag, Landtag and district elections.
