Some of the environmental protection engineers can carry out general measurements themselves using their own measuring equipment. If you have questions about radioactivity in food (e.g. game, mushrooms), your suspected samples will be forwarded to the relevant testing laboratories. If the environmental protection engineer does not know what to do, he can provide you with the names of competent contacts to whom you can address your questions.
