Municipal event room; reservation

If you would like to hold an event in a municipal facility (e.g. in an event room, school classroom, sports hall or sports field) or a district office, you must reserve the facility for the desired date in good time or register the event.

The municipality / district office decides on the allocation of the premises within the scope of their dedication and availability.

School room rentals

The School Administration Office rents out school rooms (assembly halls, specialist rooms, etc.) on request outside of lesson times for individual events or on a permanent basis. Sports grounds of the municipal schools are also rented out for extracurricular use (e.g. beach volleyball court of the business school, outdoor sports facilities, etc.). The rental of school premises is open to clubs, private individuals or commercial enterprises.

The Sports Office is responsible for school sports halls.

A formal application must be submitted to the School Administration Office of the City of Erlangen, Rathausplatz 1, 91052 Erlangen.

• The application must be completed in full and signed.
• The period of use can be specified in more detail in the field "for the following event".
• The application must be accompanied by a hygiene concept in accordance with the currently applicable Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance.

School room rentals

A usage fee of € 0.10 per square meter per hour (ancillary costs only) is charged. For registered associations, this fee can be reduced to € 0.05 per square meter per hour.

School room rentals

Applicants are requested to contact the school management and submit their request. The documents (application and hygiene concept) must be submitted to the school management or the building management for approval and then both sent to the school administration office.
