We improve and renew the road network for you
Around 120,000 people live in our city. In addition, there are several thousand professionals who come to work in Erlangen every day. They are all on the move every day - on their way to work, university, shopping, the theater or school. To ensure that everyone reaches their destination safely, we are improving and renewing the road network. This also applies to footpaths and cycle paths. However, Deutsche Bahn, the Autobahndirektion Nordbayern and various utility companies are also carrying out construction work. Road and cycle path closures are therefore unfortunately unavoidable. This also affects buses, which then have to run differently.
