City-Management Erlangen has been in existence since 1997, bringing together over 120 city-oriented and city-interested companies from

What does the City Management do?

The association, which has been registered as an independent organization since April 2020, acts as an intermediary and platform for action between its member businesses and the

  • economy
  • politics
  • administration

and many other institutions. The common goal is to increase the attractiveness of the "shopping city of Erlangen" and thus Erlangen as a business location. The aim is to generate more visitors and purchasing power from near and far.

What services does it offer?

Together with its partners and members, it supervises, supports and coordinates a wide variety of projects and events in the city center for the benefit of the retail trade and the shopping city of Erlangen. This includes, among other things

  • the event management of major events
  • advertising and public relations work
  • vacancy management
  • the organization of Christmas lighting.

City voucher

As a shopping voucher, it can be given as a gift for anyone and any occasion. The classic voucher is available in denominations of 5 euros, ten euros, 20 euros or 50 euros. The City-Gutschein can be redeemed at over 200 points of sale throughout Erlangen.
