The Erlangen City Voucher from the Erlangen City Management not only offers a versatile gift idea for numerous occasions. It also contributes to the promotion of local trade. Whether for a birthday, wedding or as a small gift - the voucher can be redeemed in many stores and businesses in the city. In this way, it strengthens the local economy.
Redeemable at over 200 points of sale
The voucher is available at the Tourist Information Office (Goethestraße 21a) and at ten other points of sale in Erlangen. It can also be purchased online. It is available in a

Viola Raabe, project manager of the City-Gutschein at City-Management Erlangen: "We are continuously developing our City-Gutschein and have decided to introduce this new denomination in response to many requests from our citizens. For users, this means more flexibility - and at the same time we can gain new points of acceptance where smaller amounts are paid in particular."
Keeping an eye on validity
The vouchers are legally valid for three years, until the end of the calendar year (December 31, 11:59 p.m.).
Since its introduction in October 2018, the city voucher has generated over two million euros in sales. It is considered an important instrument for strengthening the local economy and retaining purchasing power in Erlangen.
