Stand: 15.05.2026

The flexible gift for supporting local trade.

The Erlangen City Voucher from the Erlangen City Management not only offers a versatile gift idea for numerous occasions. It also contributes to the promotion of local trade. Whether for a birthday, wedding or as a small gift - the voucher can be redeemed in many stores and businesses in the city. In this way, it strengthens the local economy.

Redeemable at over 200 points of sale

The voucher is available at the Tourist Information Office (Goethestraße 21a) and at ten other points of sale in Erlangen. It can also be purchased online. It is available in several variants:

  • 5 euros
  • 10 euros
  • 25 euros
  • 50 euros
  • 100 euros.

Viola Raabe, project manager of the City-Gutschein at City-Management Erlangen: "We are continuously developing our City-Gutschein and have decided to introduce this new denomination in response to many requests from our citizens. For users, this means more flexibility - and at the same time we can gain new points of acceptance where smaller amounts are paid in particular." The legal validity of the vouchers is three years, until the end of the calendar year (December 31, 11:59 p.m.).

Over 2.6 million euros in sales to date

The city voucher remains a powerful instrument for strengthening the local economic cycle. As the Erlangen Tourism and Marketing Association announced on March 3, it was sold last year with a total value of over 378,000 euros. This is an unprecedented figure since its launch in November 2018, taking the project to a new high. It underlines its growing importance for Erlangen as a business location. In total, sales since the introduction of the city voucher amount to over 2.6 million euros. This sum also includes the city gift vouchers. They were issued as subsidized city vouchers during the Corona period.
