The Erlangen City Gift Certificate from City-Management Erlangen isn’t just a versatile gift idea for a wide range of occasions; it also helps support local businesses. Whether for a birthday, a wedding, or as a small token of appreciation—the gift certificate can be redeemed at many stores and businesses throughout the city. In this way, it strengthens the local economy.
Redeemable at over 200 locations
The gift certificate is available at the Tourist Information Office (Goethestraße 21a) as well as at ten other sales locations in Erlangen. It can also be purchased online. It is available in several denominations:
- 5 euros
- 10 euros
- 25 euros
- 50 euros
- 100 euros.

Viola Raabe, project manager for the City Gift Certificate at City-Management Erlangen: “We are continuously improving our City Gift Certificate, and in response to numerous requests from our residents, we have decided to introduce this new denomination. For users, this means greater flexibility—and at the same time, we can attract new participating merchants, particularly those where smaller amounts are typically paid.” The vouchers are valid for three years, expiring at the end of each calendar year (December 31, 11:59 p.m.).
