The integrative learning center "Gowi 27" is a daycare facility for children between the ages of 6 and 14.
The municipal learning centers are aimed at children and families in difficult life situations and work with them in an appreciative, supportive and intensive way. The focus is on improving the children's future prospects together.
The facility has space for a total of 36 children and young people and offers up to 7 integrative places.
The integrative mixed-age learning center is located in Büchenbach in the family support center gowi.27 and close to the village school, the Mönau school and the Hermann-Hedenus school. The Lernstube is located in the Büchenbach Süd family support center. It also offers counseling and activities for children and parents. In addition to the Lernstube, the Open Youth Social Work and the Family Education Center are also located in the building.
The integrative learning room currently consists of two groups. The groups are divided according to age structure. A special feature of our facility is the focus on relationship work with the children and young people. We want to be a point of contact for those entrusted to our care in all life situations, as well as for the parents.
The Lernstube has a group room and two adjoining rooms for each group with a special focus on play and creative activities. There is also an exercise room and a games room. There is also a "chill-out room" for the older children, where they can relax and spend time with their peer group. The youth group also has a billiard room with a punching bag and a few sofas for leisure activities.
The professionals at our facility treat the children and young people with an open, unbiased and appreciative attitude. The children and young people are taken seriously in their wholeness and diversity. The child is experienced as an active creator of his or her own system. The existing resources are taken up, supplemented and used for the development of the child's personality. We want to give children the opportunity to develop according to their talents, inclinations, abilities, skills and competencies. Through targeted support and guidance of the child, we try to reduce and compensate for developmental deficits. The focus here is on developing positive self-esteem and self-efficacy. This is the basis for the healthy development of the child.
