Citizenship Office Temporarily Unavailable

During this period, no administrative work will be conducted and no customer appointments will be held. The agency will also not be available by phone or through other means. Incoming applications, inquiries, and documents cannot be processed during this time.

The City of Erlangen therefore asks that, whenever possible, you refrain from submitting applications, documents, and status inquiries during the specified period. Processing can only resume once normal operations have resumed.

The reason for the temporary closure is extensive and urgently needed internal adjustments, as well as measures for data collection and data cleansing.

The Foreigners’ Registration Office itself is not subject to any restrictions during the aforementioned period; normal operations (customer appointments, application submissions, document pickups, etc.) will continue as usual.

The City of Erlangen regrets the resulting inconvenience and asks for your understanding.
