During the construction period, traffic disruptions may occur on the affected detour routes. Local traffic will be accommodated and maintained as much as possible. Residents directly affected will be notified separately by the drainage department via a letter. The drainage department and the contractor are committed to carrying out the work as smoothly and quickly as possible. The goal is to keep disruptions and restrictions to a minimum at all times during the project. Unfortunately, due to the scope of the work, it is unavoidable that permissible disturbances and occasional restrictions may occur at one location or another.
Telekom is expected to be laying new fiber-optic cables in the area between Hauptstraße, Neue Straße, Katholischer Kirchenplatz, and Wöhrstraße through Friday, October 9. To do this, Telekom will open up sections of the sidewalks and lay the cables. The work will result in traffic restrictions throughout the entire area. In addition, parking will be temporarily unavailable in some areas.
