Floods; information on the preparation of the municipal reporting plan
The municipalities participating in the flood information service draw up reporting plans indicating which measures must be carried out by which authorities at which water levels. A reporting plan provides information on responsible bodies or self-help options.

The municipal reporting plan describes the measures to be taken (depending on the water level), regulates responsibilities and information channels, includes the contact details of all affected departments and lists available materials and equipment.
In order to ensure a smooth flood response, the municipal reporting plan is constantly updated. Experiences from past floods are processed and structural conditions are taken into account. Support from aid organizations is also taken into account.
