The district consultants for horticulture and landscape conservation are the experts for the design and maintenance of the district's own outdoor facilities, sports fields and local recreational facilities, for municipal green spaces, cemeteries, kindergartens and roadside greenery.
Special emphasis can be placed on the design of these areas with native trees and shrubs, for example. The aim is to maintain these areas in a way that protects nature and the environment.
The district consultants for horticulture and landscape conservation organize the maintenance of outdoor facilities, e.g. at secondary schools and leisure facilities, either in-house or by contracting them out.
