The District Advisory Service for Horticulture and Landscape Conservation at the District Office advises on issues relating to the design, creation and maintenance of green spaces in the district and the associated special-purpose associations.

The district consultants for horticulture and landscape conservation are the experts for the design and maintenance of the district's own outdoor facilities, sports fields and local recreational facilities, for municipal green spaces, cemeteries, kindergartens and roadside greenery.
Special emphasis can be placed on the design of these areas with native trees and shrubs, for example. The aim is to maintain these areas in an environmentally friendly and nature-friendly manner.
The district advisors for horticulture and landscape conservation organize the maintenance of outdoor areas, e.g. at secondary schools and leisure facilities, either as part of the district's own operations or by awarding contracts.
