The District Advisory Service for Horticulture and Landscape Conservation at the District Office advises on issues relating to the planning, construction management and invoicing of new constructions and conversions of district-owned and municipal facilities.

If the district awards contracts for the new construction and conversion of district-owned open spaces, the district gardening and landscaping advisory service is responsible for the planning, construction management and invoicing of these projects.

Tasks include
- Providing advice and technical support to the municipalities and the district on issues relating to landscape and green space plans and reviewing drafts and plans.
- Participation in the preparation of tender documents, the assessment of applications, the supervision of construction management, the inspection of construction work and the invoicing of district construction projects.
- The technical plan review in accordance with Art. 5 of the Bavarian Building Regulations for the green organization of construction measures.
- The technical consultation and examination of municipal statutes in the area of green space planning, e.g. tree protection ordinances, cemetery statutes, green space statutes.
