Driver's License; Submitting the Driver's License Application to the Municipality

As a general rule, the driver’s license authority (i.e., the district administrative authority) in your place of residence is responsible for matters related to driver’s licenses. However, you can submit your driver’s license application not only there but also at your local municipality. This may be advisable to avoid delays, as the District Administrative Authority generally requires information from your local municipality to process the application.
