City Council; Information on Meeting Minutes

These must include at least the following:

• the date and location of the meeting,
• the names of the municipal council members present,
• the items discussed,
• the resolutions, and
• the results of the votes.

Any member may request that the minutes record how they voted. The minutes must be signed by the chairperson and the secretary and approved by the municipal council.

All residents of the municipality are free to inspect the minutes of public meetings. They may also request copies, for which the municipality may charge a fee. The same applies to non-residents with regard to their real estate or business establishments within the municipality.
