Hunting Cooperative; Information on Legal Oversight

The hunting association decides, among other things, on the type of hunting use, the method of leasing (e.g., public auction, direct award), the awarding of hunting leases, and the use of the net proceeds from hunting.

The hunting association is a public-law corporation. It is subject to state supervision by the hunting authorities. This supervision is of a legal nature and is limited to ensuring that the hunting association properly fulfills its statutory duties and obligations.

The hunting association elects a hunting board, which represents the hunting association in and out of court. Resolutions of the general meeting of hunting association members require both a majority of the members present and represented, as well as a majority of the land area represented at the time the resolution is adopted.
