Hunting in a Peace Zone; Application for a Permit

There are areas designated as hunting-restricted by law, such as buildings used for human habitation and buildings physically connected to such structures. In addition, the hunting authority may, in certain cases, designate areas as hunting-restricted. However, the property owner or person entitled to use the property may take possession of dead game, fallen game, and antlers that have been shed.

In protected areas, the lower hunting authority (district administrative authority) may grant the owner, the person entitled to use the land, the hunting ground owner, or their representatives permission to carry out certain hunting activities, limited to specific game species and a specific time period.

Permission is deemed to have been granted if the hunting ground owner, with the consent of the landowner or person entitled to use the land, hunts fur-bearing predators and wild rabbits using traps within the hunting seasons.
