As a rule, fees are charged for attending courses or events at the adult education center and must be paid at the time of registration.

Information on fees, discounts and fee refunds can be found in the fee regulations or the General Terms and Conditions. The fees are stated for each course or event.

The fee regulations of the adult education center and the fees per course can be found on the website of the municipality, the district or the adult education center.

As a rule, fees and expenses are charged for participation in Erlangen Adult Education Center (vhs) events. Their amount is indicated in the respective course descriptions. The fees and expenses are due at the start of the event.

They will be debited from the specified account by SEPA direct debit no later than three weeks after the start of the event. We require bank details and a valid SEPA direct debit mandate for processing.

If you register in person at the service office, you can alternatively pay by debit or credit card, in which case the fee will be debited from your account immediately.

You can also pay by invoice, which will be sent to you after the start of the event. If you use the registration form in the program booklet, please write "Invoice" in the blank field for the bank details. If you register for a course via the Internet, please select the menu item "Invoicing".

Fees and expenses for German courses at levels A1/1 to C2/2 and for Goethe examinations are due upon registration.

If you wish to pay the course fee by invoice, we will charge a processing fee of 5 euros for the additional work involved.

If a direct debit order cannot be executed (e.g. incorrect bank details or insufficient funds in the account), the vhs will charge the amount due plus a processing fee of 5 euros and a chargeback fee (depending on your bank).

For organizational reasons, vouchers cannot be redeemed at the box office.

To debit the course fees, we require a valid bank account and the SEPA direct debit mandate.
