Declaration on digital accessibility
The City of Erlangen endeavours to make its website and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the Act on Digitization in the Free State of Bavaria (BayDiG). As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Sections that are currently not yet accessible:
- Keyboard accessibility is not yet fully achieved.
- Some PDFs, forms and other material offered for viewing and downloading have not yet been created barrier-free or have not yet been created in barrier-free form for capacity reasons.

A large number of decentralized online editors are responsible for the specialist content of individual websites. Despite references to making the information as accessible as possible, the requirements may not be met in full or at all in individual cases
