New from April 1, 2024
You can now also apply for the ErlangenPass if your income is only slightly above the relevant income limits for social benefits. Eligibility is checked by means of a calculation.

Whether you receive the ErlangenPass with or without calculation makes no difference to the ErlangenPass card or the benefits.

ErlangenPass

The ErlangenPass is a social pass that makes it easier for low-income people to participate in social life. Various discounts are possible on presentation of the ErlangenPass. You can apply online here. The ErlangenPass has an additional function for children and young adults: education and participation benefits (e.g. for excursions, school trips, lunch) are billed via the ErlangenPass. Parents must submit an application for their children to use this service.
