In Erlangen, each neighborhood has its own advisory board. The Alterlangen Neighborhood Advisory Board represents your interests in the neighborhood within the city administration’s governing bodies. It can make recommendations and submit proposals on all issues affecting the neighborhood. In this way, it contributes to the formation of political will in city policy. The City Council, the relevant committee, or the city administration’s departments must address the recommendations and motions within three months.

Schallershofer Street

From Monday, August 17, through Thursday, September 17 (tentatively), Schallershofer Straße will be completely closed to traffic between Kraftwerkstraße and Romesstraße.

Dompfaff Street

From Monday, August 17, through what is expected to be the end of September, Dompfaffstraße will be closed between Lerchenbühl and Schobertweg. A construction crane will be set up in this area, and a construction site will be established. Pedestrians can pass through the construction site.

The Main-Danube Canal Bridge between Erlangen and the Dechsendorf district is closed to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 7.5 metric tons.
