News from the Neighborhood
2026 Garden Waste Collection Campaign
This year, as in previous years, yard waste can be dropped off free of charge at various locations throughout the city on four Saturdays in the fall. The containers will be available at the drop-off locations from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. There is one designated date for each location.
Hechtweg
From Wednesday, July 15, through the end of November, Hechtweg will be completely closed between the intersection with Elritzenweg and the intersection with Reitersbergstraße.
Forest Road
The forest road in Kosbach will be completely closed between Hegenigstraße and Rehweiherstraße from Monday, September 28, through Friday, November 27 (tentatively). This is due to work being done to expand the local heating network.
