10 years ErlangenPass

The brochure "Gut beraten - günstig leben" has been reissued to mark the tenth anniversary of the ErlangenPass. With even more offers, it provides people with suggestions on how they can experience a lot with little money or obtain everyday items inexpensively. It helps with questions such as:

• "What to do when there's not enough money?"
• "How can I participate in social life even with little money?"
• "Who will help me if I need help or support?"

One focus of the brochure is on presenting the ErlangenPass services offered by over 100 cooperation partners.

For ten years, the ErlangenPass has been helping to ensure that culture, sport, education, mobility and leisure activities remain accessible to everyone in Erlangen. In this way, it supports people with low incomes - for example, if they

• are dependent on social benefits such as citizens' allowance, basic income support in old age or top-up benefits for reduced earning capacity
• receive housing benefit or child supplement or
• receive youth welfare assistance.

The ErlangenPass can also be used by people who do not receive social benefits and have a low income, as well as those doing voluntary service. The brochure also lists discounts for many other groups of people such as pensioners, school pupils, students and people with severe disabilities. The references to advice and support services as well as information on financial assistance are arranged thematically.

The brochure "Gut beraten - günstig leben" is now available at the information desk on the first floor of the town hall. It can also be ordered free of charge from the ErlangenPass coordination office at the Social Welfare Office.
