Sustainability Action Plan

The Sustainability Action Program was published before the Easter break in a digital brochure of over 150 pages. The program brings together over 100 events in nearly every neighborhood for the entire community

in calendar format with target audience icons, as well as
detailed, illustrated descriptions of the activities.

The offerings—many of which are accessible to people with disabilities—are aimed at all ages and cover (almost) every aspect of sustainability. The extensive program is organized by around 30 educational institutions in Erlangen. The numerous experts serve as the city’s central point of contact for environmental education and global learning.

The “Get Involved” section and a directory of Erlangen’s environmental groups for children, teens, and young adults have proven particularly popular in the booklet. Anyone interested in the “Future Sites for Sustainability” within the city and their ongoing annual programs will find all contact information in the address directory.

Here’s what it’s all about

Since 2021, the Erlangen network “Education for the Environment and Sustainability” has been creating an action program for sustainability: From discussion groups, workshops, family days, and guided tours to vacation programs and school projects, there’s something for everyone. Key topics include
