Frauenaurach composting plant

Current information

You can deliver your garden waste directly to the Frauenaurach composting plant at Neuenweiherstr. 11. As part of Erlangen's ecological waste management, 6,750 tons of garden waste and green waste are processed into approx. 4,500 m³ of compost every year.

Our offer also includes the sale of the quality product "Erlanger Kompost" from our own production. This compost is made exclusively from delivered garden waste.

We would like to point out that the composting plant only accepts garden waste from Erlangen residents free of charge!

Opening hours

March 1 to November 30:

Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Saturday: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

December 1 to February 29:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Saturday closed
