Cooperation agreement signed for youth employment agency

A few days ago, Dieter Rosner, Head of Social Affairs for the City of Erlangen, and Thomas Dippold, Managing Director of the Federal Employment Agency Fürth, signed a cooperation agreement for future collaboration in the City of Erlangen's Youth Employment Agency.

What does the Youth Employment Agency do?

It deepens the systematic, binding and continuous networking between the Federal Employment Agency and the City of Erlangen. It also creates a clear structure for this close cooperation. The common goals are

• the best possible support for all young people and young adults
• the promotion of professional and social integration
• to compensate for social disadvantages at the interface between school and work.

Who is involved?

The following are involved in the city's youth employment agency

• the Erlangen Job Center
• the City Youth Welfare Office
• the M+I BBvE Erlangen pre-employment guidance team (city of Erlangen, district of Erlangen-Höchstadt, district of Neustadt/Aisch-Bad Windsheim) from the Employment Agency (Fürth).

When does it start?

The City of Erlangen Youth Employment Agency will officially go into operation on Monday, September 2. It will then be available to citizens at Nägelsbachstraße 26 (1st floor, former vaccination center) on the following days:

• Monday to Thursday from 11:00 to 17:00
• Fridays from 11:00 to 14:00.
