Informationen
If you have lost one or both of your vehicle’s license plates, if they have been stolen, or if they are no longer legible, a new license plate must be issued. The stolen or lost license plate will not be reissued for at least 10 years and will be marked as “wanted.”
This is the only way to prevent you from being held liable if third parties commit administrative offenses or criminal acts using your old license plates.
You may not operate your vehicle without license plates.
