Statistics; guided tour of the municipality

The municipalities may carry out statistics to perform their tasks within the scope of their responsibilities and powers if individual data or results cannot be provided by the Bavarian State Office for Statistics or other public bodies or cannot be determined in any other way and their own statistical offices are established.

Statistics for the performance of self-administration tasks (own sphere of activity) are generally to be ordered by statutes. Statistics for the performance of delegated tasks (delegated scope of action) generally require an order by law or state ordinance.
