The municipal energy advice service is available to you independently and free of charge. The advisors will work with you to find suitable solutions on the topics of building and heating renovation, the use of renewable energies and funding opportunities.

The free advice from the City of Erlangen takes place in approx. 1-hour appointments by telephone, at the environmental office or, by arrangement, at your premises. In any case, please make an appointment by telephone or e-mail.

Subsidy program

Due to the tight budget situation caused by the loss of tax revenue, the funding program for CO2-reducing measures on buildings must unfortunately be discontinued from 1 July 2024. Applications for funding will no longer be accepted with immediate effect.

Grants that have already been approved will continue to be paid out. Approvals are valid for 2 years.
