Taster and school internship

An internship in the administration of the city of Erlangen is possible in the following professions

• Administrative assistant (f/m/d)
• Administrative clerk (f/m/d) (civil servant in the 2nd qualification level)
• Diplom-Verwaltungswirt*in (f/m/d) (civil servant in the 3rd qualification level)

Internships in administration can only be offered during our taster internship weeks.
Outside of these weeks, internships in administration are generally not possible.

Taster internships in the careers "Kinderpfleger*in (f/m/d)" or "Erzieher*in (f/m/d)" are generally possible all year round in the municipal childcare facilities and usually last one week.

How to apply:
If you are interested in a taster internship, please contact the daycare center in which you would like to complete an internship directly. If you are accepted by the facility management, fill out the application form together with the facility and send it to us.
Please note that the application form should be received approximately 4-6 weeks before the start of the internship.

An internship in the industrial-technical field at the City of Erlangen is possible in the following professions:

• Draughtsman, specializing in civil engineering, road construction and landscaping
• Environmental technologist for wastewater management
• Specialist for event technology
• Gardener - specializing in gardening and landscaping
• Industrial mechanic
• Automotive mechatronics technician
• Agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics technician
• Road builder
