The Neighborhood Advisory Board
In Erlangen, each neighborhood has its own advisory board. The Büchenbach Neighborhood Advisory Board represents your interests in the neighborhood within the city administration’s governing bodies. It can make recommendations and submit motions on all issues affecting the neighborhood. In this way, it contributes to the formation of political will in city policy. The City Council, the relevant committee, or the city administration’s departments must address the recommendations and motions within three months.

The city of Erlangen holds an annual town hall meeting for the entire city. In addition, one town hall meeting is held in each of the various local and neighborhood areas (17 meeting areas) per legislative term. In 2023, the town hall meeting was held in the Büchenbach neighborhood.
