Parking Plan for Downtown Is Being Further Developed
The city of Erlangen is continuing to systematically develop its downtown parking plan. Following the positive results of the pilot project around Bohlenplatz, these successful measures will be expanded to other areas in the future. At the same time, a new temporary parking lot with 49 spaces is being built next to the kubic culture and education campus.
Future Parking on Michael-Vogel-Straße
The introduction of a parking management system is expected to provide 156 managed public parking spaces and three accessible public parking spaces in the future. Implementation is still scheduled for 2026.
Car-sharing is being expanded
The city of Erlangen is continuing to expand its car-sharing program. As part of a selection process, a total of 21 locations were designated for car-sharing.
