Under certain conditions, low-income households can receive housing benefit as a state subsidy towards housing costs. The application must be submitted to the housing benefit authority (district office / independent city) in whose area the housing is located.

In the heart of downtown Erlangen, development of the Siemens Mitte neighborhood continues to move forward: The laying of the cornerstone for a new construction project on Mozartstraße marks another important milestone.
Building Inspection Office - Central Plan Submission Desk
This is where all incoming applications are received, recorded, and checked for completeness. Building permit applications that contain significant deficiencies and are therefore unprocessable are returned to the applicant. It is no longer possible to submit plans directly to individual case workers. The documents are forwarded to the case workers only after they are complete. This means that it is not until then that it is determined who will process “your” application.
New Children's Center at the Bruck Train Station
The new inclusive childcare center at the Bruck train station was officially inaugurated on June 19. The city of Erlangen built the facility, which is operated by Lebenshilfe Erlangen. A total of 84 children can be cared for at the new center. Mayor Jörg Volleth attended the ceremony and addressed the guests.
